In ensuring “success for every child”, Alberta Education is currently engaged in assisting school authorities to build their capacity to deliver appropriate Assistive Technology for Learning (ATL) through activities in the following areas:

The Calgary Board of Education through the Assistive Technology Project is investigating the use of Assistive Technology as a vehicle of instruction that facilitates access to necessary learning tools to compliment student’s unique learning styles and needs. Several Key Demonstration Projects seek to provide extensively researched examples of the use of Assistive Technology solutions to inform future models of allocation of such resources for all CBE learners.
