Watch this Great Video on Assistive Technology!
Assistive Technologies offer potential solutions for improving student achievement and increasing learning opportunities for all students. Curriculum design incorporating Universal Design for Learning principles, allows all students to access the curriculum according to individual strengths, interests and abilities. By motivating students, compensating for areas of weakness, developing independence or having the ability to work in an area of preference, achievement becomes more aligned with overall ability.
As student learning experiences evolve, teacher practice changes and educators become engaged in designing learning experiences to match the needs of their students, ensuring that all children have “every opportunity to succeed in school”.
