Assistive Technology Key Demonstration Projects

The Assistive Technology Project includes several Key Demonstration Projects which will be implemented and researched over the next three years. These action research projects will result in data driven learning outcomes and will provide extensively researched examples of the use of Assistive Technology solutions as they contribute to learner success.

The Key Demonstration Projects:

Results from these projects will be examined on a larger scale and used to inform future models of allocation of such resources for all Calgary Board of Education Learners. This three-year project requires the purchase and distribution of hardware to schools, training for use, technical support and research to measure need and success.
