CBE is planning to offer staff a wonderful opportunity to travel to China in the Spring of 2012!  This opportunity will present different perspectives on education, as well as experience amazing historical and cultural sights.  

The team of participants will be comprised of a wide range of CBE personnel, who have a strong interest and desire in learning about education in other countries and who are willing to share their new knowledge within the CBE upon their return. The tour will include sights that are typically  restricted, such as visits to schools, observation of instructional practices, conversing with educators and leaders and listening to and learning from experts.  Some of the most famous historical sites, such as the Great Wall of China will be visited as well.

This is a wonderful opportunity to engage in dialogue about educational, social and political issues from a unique perspective.  It is also an fantastic opportunity to learn about your students, your community and the expand our understanding of global awareness.
