India Study Tour*
Experience New Delhi and Rajasthan, India! This is an academic experience where participants will be immersed in the work of PRIA (www.pria.org) and have the opportunity to meet, listen and learn from, and interact with experts in the fields of Participatory Research, Environmental Governance, Gender Mainstreaming, and Civil Society Building. Infused into the experience will be visits to significant cultural, historical, and geographical spaces.
Experience India! Currently, a professional development opportunity to India is being developed for CBE staff with an interest in alternative strategies in education for At-Risk Learners. Participants will study Participatory Research Methodology and Intercultural Communication strategies before completing a two week case study at various research sites. Participants will have the opportunity to meet, listen and learn from, and interact with experts in the fields of Environmental Governance, Gender Mainstreaming, and Civil Society Building. Infused into the experience will be visits to significant cultural, historical, and geographical spaces.
