What is the purpose of the Digital Citizenship Communication Toolkit?
- The Digital Citizenship Communication toolkit contains information and access to resources that support the Digital Citizenship process in CBE schools. Schools must complete the Digital Citizenship process to be compliant with
- Administrative Regulation 1062 Acceptable Use of Electronic Resources,
- Prerequisites allowing students to connect to the CBE wireless network with their own devices
- The toolkit provides Digital Citizenship information for principals, teachers, students and parents
- The Digital Citizenship process replaces the existing Web Awareness process in schools.
The New Filtering Software
There is a new external filter that is being introduced into the CBE. This filter system will fix a number of the problems that have been identified with the old system. - Filter level 1 (some elementary schools)
- Filter Level 2 (most elementary, junior and middle schools)
