Desire2Learn is the Calgary Board of Education’s Learning Management System (LMS) for the delivery of online learning and teaching. This password protected environment includes a series of Internet tools that teachers and learners can easily use for communication, course content delivery, evaluation, file storage and sharing of work. Teachers requiring access to new shells (blank courses) can use this link when on a secure CBE network: Online Shell Request Form.
Opportunities for individuals to broaden their understanding of distributed learning and the use of D2L are available through ePD courses, webinars and professional learning communities.
