This research will explore the question of what teachers need in order to successfully integrate technology into their work with 21st Century learners. Teachers and administrators will be asked to contribute their insights on this project through participation in online surveys, reflective comments and focus groups. Specifically, the program will investigate the following research questions:
- What is the impact of one to one computing on teacher practice and organizational effectiveness?
- What does the teaching and learning environment look like when teachers have access to one to one technology?
- What strategies do teachers adopt to gain skills required to utilize laptops in their practice?
