Suitable for SMART Board 600i and 800i series interactive whiteboard systems. Easily move the SMART™ Board interactive whiteboard, using an electric switch system up or down by 25″ (64 cm) to accommodate teachers and students of differing heights. The wall mount is simple to adjust with the push of a button. The HAWM gives students in early grades easy access to a larger portion of the active area of the interactive whiteboard, and raising it back up to the teacher's height gives students at the back of the classroom a better view. The wall mount also addresses some of the accessibility needs of teachers and students with disabilities, such as those in wheelchairs.
Mount the SMART™ Board Interactive Whiteboard directly to the wall. Please note that this type of installation requires CBE Facilities involved completing any structural, electrical, or data port installation.

Choose Standard or Wide Screen Unifi 75 projector
All CBE purchased SMART Interactive Whiteboards are installed with either Unifi 75 or Unifi 75 Wide Screen (UF75W) projection systems. Please choose either the standard projection UF75 or the wide screen format UF75W. If you choose the UF75W, you must also select a wide screen board (SB685 or SB885).
The SMART™ UF75 ultra-short-throw projector offers improved shadow reduction and enhanced brightness. It has a throw distance of approximately 2’ (0.6 m), provides 2,500 lumens in standard mode and projects crisp images with high contrast and color quality. The projector’s extended control panel makes it easy to control other audiovisual devices in the classroom from the front of the interactive whiteboard. With one touch, a user can switch between inputs and control power and volume. The UF75 is also energy efficient, consuming less than 1 watt of power in standby mode. And its long-lasting lamp and filter-free design reduce maintenance costs. The UF75 is compatible with standard and widescreen models of SMART™ Board 600 and 800 series interactive whiteboards.

Other FAQ
FAQWhen do I need structural work?
Unless your smart board is going on a masonry wall that is already painted the chances are you will need some type of structural work. If the smart board is going in a location where there are white boards, tack boards or black boards you will need structural work. If there is asbestos (ACM) to deal with you will need abatement of the ACM and structural work for the repairs.
So what’s this going to cost the school?
The cost is pre-set at $800. Below you will see some of the items this covers. The pre-set amount was decided since some schools have architectural challenges that would take money from their teaching budget. To give all schools equal pricing this route was decided upon. It also makes life easy when estimating the complete cost of your project.
When do I need electrical work?
If there isn’t an electrical outlet within eight feet of the edge of the smart board an existing power outlet will need to be extended to within the required distance or a new circuit installed. These options remove the health and safety risks associated to running power cords in a classroom.
So what’s the power option going to cost the school?
The cost is pre-set at $600. This was again determined for the same reasons noted in the electrical section. The ultimate decision to install a new circuit rests with FES.
Do I need a data outlet?
Essentially no. The option is there for those schools that need this technology. That said, most schools operate just fine using the wireless network.
Planning and estimating:
The audio visual equipment has set pricing noted in this web site. Step 4 has laid out the structural, electrical and data costs. To assist you further if you click on the link is will take you to a form that guides you through the planning and estimating. Below is examples of what the form looks and how it should appear when complete.
Step 5 - checklist / submit email
Ready to submit?
Please use the SMART™ Information Package Checklist link below to ensure you have comleted everything.
Once complete, send this information to the CBE Helpdesk.
Click Here to download the checklist
Step 6 - receive / approve quote
CBE Facilities and Purchasing will assemble a quote for preparation (structural, electrical, data), the product itself, and the total cost of installation. They will send this information to the CBE Helpdesk for tracking purposes and the Helpdesk will then send these quotes to the primary contact listed in step 1. To approve the quote simply respond to the helpdesk. Also if your quote requires any changes, please also inform the helpdesk of any changes or additions to the quote.
Once you have approved your quotes for structural, electrical, or data and also the quote for the product and installation, the estimated time of having the product installed is 4 - 6 weeks.
Step 7 - installation
Once the quotes are approved and processed, and the product arrives (4 - 6 weeks) the vendor will schedule a time of installation with the key contact listed in step 1. After the installation has been completed, the vendor will 'sign-off' on the install by sending a document back to the CBE Helpdesk. This will then be sent to the key contact listed in step 1.
It is important to note that once the vendor has signed off on the installation, there is a 90 day "bumper to bumper" warranty on the installation. If any product requires service please contact the CBE helpdesk so they can schedule a service call. Once the 90 day warranty is complete, service calls to the school will include additional service charges.
Step 8 - begin using the new product !!!
It is recommended that users begin using the product as much as possible within this 90 day warranty to ensure that there are no deficiencies on the installation and that everything is working correctly. Engage you're School Technology Support Specialist and their Primary Relationship Builder to assist you in making sure the product is working correctly and to provide any basic training.
